HELL GATE
- Built to one-up Luna Park (which had opened a year before Dreamland), the attraction cost 500,000 dollars to build, funded by the DL's founder William Reynolds.
- Opened in 1905
- It cost 10 cents to ride (which would be equal around 3.25 USD in 2022)
- Ticket sellers wore red robes and horned hats to resemble devils.
- It was expanded and upgraded in 1906 to include new boats, increased capacity, and new hydraulic effects.
